THE CAVES OF THOUZON
TRUE UNDERGROUND JEWEL
The CAVE of THOUZON, known as the Cave with the Fairies, opens with the foot of the Hill of THOUZON.
This cave, with dimensions on a human scale does not have of it less the advantage of having a very intense concretion formation - cristallization : stalactites, stalagmites, draperies, gours, pearls of caves …., but also a geological interest some : chimneys of balance, serce one, clogged diaclase, well, meanders, kidney of flist ….
The CAVE of THOUZON is different by a multitude from "sinus" stalactites from an externe delicacy being able to reach a 2 meters length for a diamenter of 3 milimetres. |
